Program Info: Deepavali Function

Littleton, CO
Colorado Kannada Koota organized
Deepavali Function on
Ocotber 28th, 2006 at
the Hindu Temple from 5 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
About 60 adults and 20 children attended the
function and had a good time at the social event. The program included the
following items:
Prayer by
children.
Classical
songs and prayer by adults.
Memory
game conducted by Sudendra Rao. He showed technique to memorize large list
of items
and proved that it works.
Bingo game
for children and adults.
Later, the
attendees enjoyed delicious South Indian food.
Thanks to all Kannada families for
supporting and participating in the function and making it a success!
We
want to convey our special thanks and appreciation to the ladies
who prepared the food items for the function. Our sincere thanks go to
all of the volunteers who strived hard and contributed to the various
tasks.
